The purpose of a woven artwork made of prints of Ukrainian artifacts is to symbolize the interconnectedness of cultural identity and heritage while reflecting on the fragility of history in the face of conflict and displacement. By weaving together prints of artifacts, the work creates a tactile, layered narrative that reimagines fragmented pieces of cultural memory as a cohesive whole. Through this method, the artwork invites viewers to engage with cultural memory in a way that is both physical and conceptual, highlighting the resilience of heritage while acknowledging the transformations and distortions it undergoes during times of crisis.
