This print was created using the CMYK process of color separation, which produces a full range of colors with only four layers. Serigraphy, traditionally a commercial process, values the consistency of each print. Within an artistic practice, however, I am intrigued by the ability to set up a print in a way that each result differs, embracing unpredictability and variance beyond my control. This approach mirrors the unpredictability of life, with its inherent biases and uncertainties. By allowing chance to play a role in the outcome, the work becomes a reflection of the dynamic, ever-shifting nature of perception and experience. Each print is unique, embodying both the technical precision of the process and the organic irregularities that emerge when control is relinquished.
